The Georgia Tech women's basketball team will look to end both November and December undefeated to start the season, as they sit at 14-0 with one more game remaining until 2025. A game against the Pittsburgh Panthers today is the only thing that stands in the way of the Yellow Jackets starting an unprecedented 15-0.

The Panthers head into the game at 8-6, looking for their first ACC win of the season after losing to the Miami Hurricanes 62-56 in their ACC opener on Dec. 15. It will be the Panthers second ACC game this season. The Yellow Jackets on the other hand, won against their lone ACC opponent this season in an 82-76 win over the then-ranked No.14 North Carolina Tar Heels the same day as the Panthers loss.

A big reason for the Yellow Jackets success is the emergence of freshman guard Dani Carnegie, who has scored at least 20 points in two of the team's last three games and averages 14.5 points per game this season. However, it has also been a collective effort from the team as a whole, as two other Yellow Jackets are averaging at least ten points per game, Kara Dunn and Tonie Morgan, and as a team, they lead the ACC in assists per game with 18.5 assists per game this season.

On the other side of the court, the Panthers are led by senior forward Khadija Faye, who is averaging a double-double this season, with 17 points per game and 10.6 rebounds per game. Faye also is the anchor of the defense for the team, averaging 2.6 blocks per game.

The game is set to tip off at 2:00 Eastern time today.
