The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team will take on the Syracuse Orange today in a matchup of teams that are both struggling to get back in the mix as bubble teams as the season progresses, and a win here could be a big momentum booster for both teams.

The Yellow Jackets are coming perhaps their best stretch of basketball this season, as they have now won three straight games, two of which have been ACC opponents. In their last outing, the Yellow Jackets defeated the Boston College Eagles 85-64, and guard Lance Terry put up his fifth 20-point performance of the season. Syracuse is coming off of a 90-74 loss to the Florida State Seminoles. Both teams are still flirting with .500 seasons, as the Yellow Jackets sit at 8-7, while the Orange are clinging on with a record of 6-8.

The matchup to watch in the game will be how the big men on both teams get the edge over the other ones, as both teams are top-5 on the ACC in rebounds per game this season.

The Yellow Jackets offense relies on ball movement, as they are third in the ACC with 16.1 assists per game, with guard Nathan George leading the way for the team with 6.3 assists per game. George could be a key factor in the contest, as the Yellow Jackets will need a player at some point in the game to take over on the offensive end.

The game is set to tip off at 7pm Eastern time.
