In what will be a matchup of two teams that will have to rely on late season runs if they want to make the ACC tournament, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will go on the road to face the Virginia Cavaliers.

The Yellow Jackets have perhaps the most momentum that they have had all season, winning back-to-back games against superior opponents, knocking off the No.21 ranked Louisville Cardinals 77-70 on Feb. 1, then beating the Clemson Tigers 89-86 in a triple overtime thriller on Feb. 4.

On the other side of the court, the Cavaliers have lost seven of their last nine games, but picked up a 73-57 victory against the Pittsburgh Panthers the last time they were on the court.

The style of play for both teams will play a huge factor in how the game looks, as both teams prefer a slow pace of play, but Virginia allows the second-least amount of points in the ACC, with their opponents scoring just 64.9 points per game, while the Cavaliers offense ranks dead last in points per game, scoring 63.7 points per game.

Fr the Yellow Jackets, they just need to keep on doing what they have done the past two games, which is having the offense look a little more loose and dynamic, allowing players to display their skills. Yellow Jackets point guard and ACC assist leader Naithan George has played a big role in the recent success for the team in the last two games, putting up 15 points and nine assists against Louisville and a season-high 28 points and seven assists against the Tigers.

The game is set to tip off at 5:30pm Eastern time.
