The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-9) will look to make it back to the .500 mark tonight, as they host the Clemson Tigers in a match up of teams that are moving in opposite directions this season: one, the Yellow Jackets, trying to keep the season afloat during their conference schedule, and on the other side of the court, the Tigers are looking to prove that last season's trip to the Elite Eight wasn't a fluke, as they sit at 13-4 and now have expectations to live up to.

Heading into the game, the Yellow Jackets have lost back-to-back games to the Syracuse Orange and SMU Mustangs, with the Mustangs handing the Yellow Jackets their third-worst loss of the season in terms of point differential. Clemson comes into the game winning four of their last five games, all against ACC opponents.

Both teams come into the game with offenses that rank in the top five in the ACC in assists per game this season, so look for a lot of ball movement from both teams throughout the night if it stays competitive. It seems to be a perfect storm for the Tigers, as they enter the game shooting 38.3 percent from beyond the arc, best in the ACC this season, while the Yellow Jackets are allowing opponents to shoot 35 percent from three-point range this season, the fifth highest in the ACC this season. So if the Yellow Jackets want to stay in the game tonight, they will need to apply pressure around the perimeter to keep the Tigers from making those big shots.

The game is set to tip off at 9pm Eastern time.
