Tonight, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's basketball team will host their third ACC matchup of the season, and fourth overall, when they meet up with the 10-4 Virginia Tech Hokies, in what could be a big showdown, as the Yellow Jackets look to extend their historical start to the season, which has seen the team start 15-0, almost doubling the best start in program history.

The Yellow Jackets 15-0 start is something that no one in the women's college landscape could have seen coming, but the Yellow Jackets have taken the eye of the landscape, as they head into the matchup ranked at No.13 in the latest AP women's college basketball polls.

Coming into the matchup, both teams have had their own areas of success, with the Hokies averaging 77.2 points per game, good for fifth in the ACC, while the Yellow Jackets are stellar in a lot of categories this season, but one that sticks out is the team making the second most three-pointers in the ACC, draining 9.4 per game.

If the Yellow Jackets are looking for their key to success in the contest, then they can look no further than inside the paint, where the teams are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. The Yellow Jackets are fifth in the conference, averaging 42.7 rebounds per game, while the Hokies rank third from the bottom in the conference, averaging just 36.7 rebounds per game this season.

The game is set to tip off at 7pm Eastern time.
