In what will be the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets fourth ranked matchup of the season, they will travel to South Bend, Indiana to take on the best opponent that the team has faced all season, the No. 3 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

While the Yellow Jackets haven't looked that well recently, losing back-to-back games to unranked opponents, the Virginia Tech Hokies and Louisville Cardinals, it must be noted that this is still a team that started the season 15-0 and is 3-0 against ranked teams this season, winning by an average margin of 11 points in those games. The Fighting Irish are as hot as ever this season coming into the game, winning their last nine games decisively, as they've won all nine games by at least nine points.

The status of Yellow Jackets guard Dani Carnegie remains up in the air, as she missed the team's last game against the Cardinals with a hamstring injury that was suffered in the team's loss to Virginia Tech. If she isn't able to suit up, the Yellow Jackets will be without their second-leading scorer, as Carnegie has averaged 15.1 points per game this season.

This means that on the Yellow Jackets side of the court, junior Kara Dunn will be relied on for most of the team's production, especially on the offensive end, in Carnegie's absence. Dunn was still able to perform well, scoring 18 points and grabbing four rebounds in the game against the Cardinals, but the team chemistry just felt like it was off the entire game on the offensive side of the ball.

The game is set to tip off at 6:05pm Eastern time.
