The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will play six games at Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2025, but not all games are created equal. The Yellow Jackets will have six opponents that they will play at home this upcoming season, but there is one that I fell will stand above the rest: their showdown with the Clemson Tigers.
For starters, the Tigers are perhaps the second biggest rival of Yellow Jackets fans, sitting just behind the in-state of the team, the Georgia Bulldogs. With the two teams not playing each other last season, the two teams will look to renew that rivalry next season. And it could not come at a better time than in 2025, where the Yellow Jackets will enter the season with a ton of momentum brought over from last season.
This could not only be the biggest game on the schedule for both opponents, but it could be the biggest matchup of the season in the entire ACC conference. Both teams have been projected to finish in the top four teams in the conference, and this could be a crucial matchup for both teams when it comes to Selection Sunday.
Compared to the other matchups at home, the game against the Tigers stand shoulders above the rest of the homestead, as the closest prominent opponent to the Tigers stature could be the Syracuse Orange, who beat the Yellow Jackets 31-28 last season.
Along with the Tigers and Orange, the Yellow Jackets will face the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, Duke Blue Devils, Temple Owls, and Pittsburgh Panthers at Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2025
