With the release of College Football 26 set for July 10, players will be rushing to pick their favorite teams and see who the highest rated players on their teams are, with one of those teams being the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. So, who can fans expect to see as the three highest rated players on the team heading into the game?
1. Jamal Haynes, Running Back
I think Haynes is a shoe end to be the highest rated player on the game for the Yellow Jackets, as he has been the face of a rushing attack that has been among the best in the country the past two seasons. Haynes has combined for 2,003 rushing yards in since taking over the starting role in the backfield.
2. Haynes King, Quarterback
King has been the best quarterback to come through the Yellow Jackets program in recent memory, and he made sure to prove that to the rest of the college football world by putting on a heroic performance against the in-state rival Georgia Bulldogs to end the regular season last season, so expect King to get a ton of love in College Football 26, and a ton of playing time.
3. Keylan Rutledge, Offensive Guard
There are lots of names that could go here, including transfer wide receiver Eric Rivers and linebacker Kyle Efford, but I chose to put Rutledge here because he could get a huge boost after being named to the First Team All-ACC Team in 2024 and will be an anchor on the team in the game.
