The bracket for the 2025 ACC baseball Tournament has been released, and while there will be tons of great matchups throughout the tournament, the focus for all Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets fans should be a trio of teams, one of which will see the Yellow Jackets in the quarterfinals: the Miami Hurricanes, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and California Golden Bears. So, which of the three should Yellow Jackets fans want to see in the quarterfinals?

The California Golden Bears present the least concern for the Yellow Jackets in my opinion, as the Yellow Jackets swept the Golden Bears earlier this season, outscoring them 27-13 in their three-game series earlier this season.
The Hurricanes, while sweeping the Yellow Jackets earlier this season, present the second-least of a concern, as aside from the Yellow Jackets series, the Hurricanes just did not look that good this season, not winning an ACC series against a ranked opponent outside of their sweep of the Yellow Jackets.

The Demon Deacons have not seen the Yellow Jackets this season, but they come into the tournament as the No.8 seed in the tournament, and have series wins over the No.6 ranked Florida State Seminoles and the Louisville Cardinals. On top of that, the Demon Deacons have three players, Mareck Houston, Kade Lewis, and Blake Morningstar, all made the All-ACC teams.

So the Demon Deacons for sure present the biggest challenge to the Yellow Jackets in the quarterfinals, as they are a more complete team than both the Golden Bears and the Hurricanes at this point of the season.
