Josh Pastner and the Georgia Tech men’s basketball team have two top prospects trending towards their way of late it seems.

The Georgia Tech basketball program has been a big talking point of late in college basketball especially among recruits. with the great season the Jackets have had in what was a rebuilding year, the future is bright for the Yellow Jackets. Two names that are especially trending towards the Jackets of late are Joel Ayayi and Jordan Tucker.

French guard interested in Georgia Tech:

One of the top European basketball prospects has expressed interest in coming to the United States to play and Josh Pastner along with the Georgia Tech coaching staff are trying to get in on his recruitment.

According to Scout.com, Ayayi so far has received scholarship offers from Baylor and the Yellow Jackets so far. He also said told Evan Daniels that Gonzaga, Oklahoma, and Xavier all have expressed interest. Daniels also reported in his piece for Scout that Ayayi should be taking visits in April.

In his last game on Saturday, Ayayi came off the bench for  Centre Federal Du Basket-Ball and scored nine points while bringing down three rebounds and collecting three assists. Still young, Ayayi is averaging 5.2 points on the season to go along with 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Jordan Tucker trending towards Tech:

The recruitment for Jordan Tucker has been a highly profiled recruitment for both Georgia Tech and Indiana over the last year. While it appeared Tucker was headed to Indiana for quite some time, it seems that Yellow Jackets have picked up traction. Once Tom Crean was fired from Indiana, Tucker cut the Hoosiers from his list of schools.

Th last three predictions for the four-star prospect have all trended towards Georgia Tech over the last month. One of those predictions comes from 247Sports’ Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer. Despite not having visited Georgia Tech yet it appears Tucker’s interest in the Jackets continues to grow. Especially after the recent developments at Indiana.

Originally from New York, Tucker transferred to Wheeler High School in Atlanta last August. While not originally interested in the Jackets, Tech’s recent season has put the Jackets in a prime spot for Tucker as he gets closer to a decision.

With a decision from Tucker drawing closer, Yellow Jacked Up will make sure to keep updating our readers on his recruitment.
