The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets open up Bobby Dodd Stadium for the first time in 2017 on Saturday as they take on FCS powerhouse Jacksonville State. The Gamecocks are ranked as the fifth best team in the FCS and are coming off a 27-13 victory over Chattanooga in week 0.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a heartbreaking 42-41 loss to the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday night in what was in all reality a home game, being less than two miles away from campus. Despite losing on Monday night, a lot was learned about the 2017 Georgia Tech team. The biggest takeaway from Monday night, of course, was the emergence of TaQuon Marshall as the next big star for Georgia Tech football. That being said, the late defensive collapsed leaves a lot of questions surrounding the defensive side of the ball remaining entering the Jackets game against Jacksonville State.
