It’s time to check up on three of Georgia Tech basketball’s three top targets in the 2018 recruiting class.

Michael Devoe:

More from Basketball

Devoe is set to make his commitment in two days and the Yellow Jackets sit in a great position to earn his commitment. The four-star guard is announcing his commitment despite still having three more official visits scheduled in the upcoming weeks.

At this point, it appears as though Devoe is going to end up wearing a Tech uniform at the college level. If Devoe commits and eventually signs with the Jackets, he will be their highest ranked recruit since Tadric Jackson in 2014.

247Sports also is loving Devoe’s chances of committing to the Yellow Jackets with 100% of their crystal balls trending towards Tech. The Jackets have created a surge over the last few days to overtake the once favorited Florida Gators.

Chance of committing: 95%

Nassir Little:

The Yellow Jackets are in a phenomenal spot with Little, given his talent and the Jackets recent success. Josh Pastner and his staff is deserving of a ton of credit on the recruiting trail for the success they’ve had.

That being said, Little’s recruitment is nowhere close to being over and the Jackets still have an upwards battle. Yes, the Jackets are in a great spot but they still are going up against traditional powers in Arizona and North Carolina. After the Wildcats and Tar Heels, it appears as though the Yellow Jackets are in a great spot.

Nassir and the Little family certainly like Tech and the Jackets will be a player in his recruitment but can they beat out Arizona and North Carolina?

Chances of committing: 30%

 Landers Nolley:

Nolley was once a top recruit for the Jackets but it seems that Josh Pastner and staff have backed off the four-star guard and have turned their sights elsewhere. Which is head-scratching considering not too long ago, Nolley was once the Jackets top target in the class.

That being said, Nolley is set to announce his top four schools soon and the Jackets still may be on the list, but don’t be surprised if they’re not. It also appears that Nolley is close to making a decision as he moved his commitment date up to October 7th.

At this point in his recruitment, it appears as though Nolley will be committing to Illinois or Virginia Tech.
