Georgia Tech Basketball Recruiting: Nassir Little set to make his commitment
Five-star small forward Nassir Little is set to make his college basketball commitment on Wednesday evening.
Nassir Little, one of the top ten recruits in the 2018 recruiting class has decided that it’s time to shut down his recruitment. On Wednesday, the Orlando, Florida native announced that he would be making his college decision at 6:00 pm.
Little originally announced his top five schools back at the beginning of August. At the time, his five schools were Arizona, Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, and North Carolina.

Chances were that the Orlando native was always going to stay close to home. The recent FBI investigation which included the arrest of Arizona assistant Emmanuel “Book” Richardson most likely solidified those chances.
At the current time, the 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions are all going the way of the North Carolina Tar Heels. Which isn’t all that surprising, as his last official visit that he took was to North Carolina on September 8th. The Tar Heels head basketball coach Roy Williams also dropped by the Little residence in Orlando on September 20th for an in-home visit.
When it comes to Georgia Tech, the Jackets were a definite player in his recruitment and even landing in his top-five is another strong sign that Josh Pastner is leading the Jackets in the right direction. Little took his official visit to Tech on August 26th and has been visited by Josh Pastner numerous times over the course of his recruitment. If the Jackets’ fail to land a commitment from Little on Wednesday evening, they can take solace in that they were right in it to the end in his recruitment.
