North Carolina State already pulled off the upset of Louisville on Saturday, could there be more upsets brewing in the ACC on Saturday?

Wake Forest Demon Deacons (4-1)  at #2 Clemon Tigers (5-0):

The Demon Deacons started off 4-0 and lost in a heartbreaker to Florida State last season. This week, it doesn’t get much easier as they travel to Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are 5-0 and are looking like national championship contenders once again. They struggled against Boston College earlier this season, could they be in for a dogfight on Saturday?

Clemson 38 – Wake Forest 10

Duke Blue Devils (4-1) at Virginia Cavaliers (3-1):

The Blue Devils are coming off a demoralizing loss to Miami last weekend while Virginia’s last game was a big win over Boise State. So far, it doesn’t seem that the Cavaliers are the pushover team that they were the past few seasons. This game has the chances to be a low scoring affair that goes down to the wire.

Duke 17 – Virginia 13

Pittsburgh Panthers (2-3) at Syracuse Orange (2-3):

The Panthers two wins this season are over FCS Youngstown State and Rice. Any time the Panthers have faced an even decent defense (including Youngstown State) they have struggled offensively. Syracuse doesn’t have a great defense but their defense will be good enough to hold the Panthers offense. This one won’t be nearly as high scoring as a year ago.

Syracuse 32 – Pittsburgh 24

#13 Miami Hurricanes (3-0) at Florida State Seminoles (1-2)

The Seminoles are huge underdogs to the Hurricanes on Saturday and for good reason. Through Miami’s first three games, they have looked the part especially defensively. Florida State, however, has struggled especially without quarterback Deondre Francois. This Hurricanes defense is possibly the second best in the ACC and should be able to keep the Seminoles on the reservation on Saturday.

Miami 23 – Florida State 13

#21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-1) at North Carolina Tar Heels (1-4)

This has the chance to be a game that is over before halftime. While Notre Dame doesn’t have an overly dominating offense, they face a North Carolina team that is demoralized and struggling with the injury bug. The Tar Heels just a week ago were dominated on both sides of the ball by the Jackets in a 33-7 loss. Notre Dame seems to be back to status quo and should take this game with ease.

Notre Dame 38 – North Carolina 10

#16 Virginia Tech Hokies at Boston College Eagles (2-3)

The Hokies are coming off a loss at home to Clemson but get to bounce back against Boston College. The Eagles gave Clemson a run for the money defensively for a while two weeks ago, so the Hokies will have to be on alert. Even if the Eagles play strong defensively, they won’t have the offense to get a win on Saturday.

Virginia Tech 34 – Boston College 3
