The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets athletic program seen a ton of highs and lows in the 2024-5 NCAA calendar year, with upset on top ranked teams, and the Yellow Jackets being upset a few times by teams. However, the program is in for an exciting calendar year for the 2025 year.
The Yellow Jackets will see two new coaches in their five major sports, with Dave Ramsey taking over the baseball program after the team had been managed by Danny Hall for 32 seasons. The women's basketball team will also see a new face lead the program in Karen Blair.
The football team will look to continue a successful season last year and build on it by going into the most optimistic time of Yellow Jackets football since Paul Johnson announced his retirement after the 2018 season, while the men's basketball team will return Damon Stoudamire in his third season and welcome in ten new faces on the court for the 2025 season.
The softball team will be lead by Aileen Morales, who will enter her eighth season with the Yellow Jackets, after making the NCAA Tournament last season.
All five of the big sports for the Yellow Jackets entered the postseason in the 2024 calendar year, and there is no sign of the teams slowing down at all.
Heading into the 2025 NCAA calendar season, the Yellow Jackets are in the best spot athletically that they have been in in recent memory, and there will be plenty of action for Yellow Jackets fans over the next year.
