Perhaps one of the more underrated players for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this season has been shortstop Kyle Lodise, who has become a fan favorite for the team since the start of the season with how well he has done in the leadoff spot for the Yellow Jackets.

Lodise showed how much of a weapon that he could truly be in the Yellow Jackets three game series against the Clemson Tigers this weekend, in what would be the biggest challenge for both Lodise and the Yellow Jackets this season.

In game one, Lodise would waste no time showing the Tigers how his impact would be felt on the series, as he would hit a home run on just the second pitch of the game. It would mark his tenth home run of the season. Lodise would finish the game 2-5, adding in a single.

In game two, Lodise would put together one of the best performances of any Yellow Jackets player this season, as he would hit 4-5 in the game with a double, but the biggest impact was the two home runs that he hit in the contest.

In game three, Lodise would simmer down, as he hit 0-3 in the game.

Lodise would have a series that will be talked about for a while around the clubhouse, as he hit 6-13 with three home runs and a double, while garnering seven RBIs. The series continues what has already been a breakout season for the astounding junior.
