With the end of the regular season approaching, today's matchup between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and California Bears could a big one in terms of seeding for the tournament, as the Yellow Jackets currently sit in tenth place while the Bears are sitting at fourteenth place, meaning that the Bears will need to show up in the rest of their six games on the schedule to make the tournament.

The Yellow Jackets enter the contest having won their last outing against the Stanford Cardinal 60-52, while the last time the Bears took the court, it resulted in a 78-57 loss to the No.3 ranked Duke Blue Devils.

A player to watch for the Yellow Jackets will be sophomore guard Naithan George, who has put up at least 20 points and five assists in the team's last three games, including a season-high 28 points in an 89-86 triple overtime thriller against the Clemson Tigers on Feb. 5. George currently leads the ACC in assists per game this season with 6.2.

On the other side of the court will be Bears sophomore guard Andrej Stojakovic, who is averaging 17.5 points per game this season.

The two teams also have an interesting matchup in the post, and Yellow Jackets forward Baye Ndongo is sixth in the ACC in rebounds per game this season with 8.1, while Bears forward Maddy Sissoko sits at ninth in the conference with 7.5.

The game is set to tip off at 4pm Eastern time today.
