With much to be looked at over the Georgia-Georgia Tech game last Friday night, many people from around the country are falling in love with specifically Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King. While his performance was one for the ages, there were some stellar stand-alone performances from the game that are noteworthy and deserve props as well.

Running back Jamal Haynes had a great day on the ground for the Yellow Jackets, as he would rush for 91 yards on 13 carries, averaging 7 yards per carry, and added an acrobatic receiving touchdown on a screen pass to put the Yellow Jackets up 17-0 just before halftime.

Also on the offensive end, junior wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. would put up one of his most impressive performances of the season, as he would finish with a season-high eight receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown in overtime to keep the Yellow Jackets chances of an upset alive.

Some could make the case that the offensive line for the Yellow Jackets was the real MVP of the team, as they outright dominated Georgia's defensive line throughout the game, to the tune of 260 rushing yards, and only allowed the pass rush to get to King one time in the entire game.

On the defensive side, the performance by Clayton Powell-Lee will be one that the Yellow Jackets look back at as a great one, as the safety finished with five tackles in the game and added a sack.

The secondary has been pinned as a weak spot for the team all season, but for three and a half quarters, the secondary held their own against the Bulldogs, even with a rotation of defensive backs that were cycled in after injuries during the game.
