The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will look to add to their already stellar transfer portal class by adding one of the biggest names left in the portal, EDGE rusher Mi'Quise Grace from the South Dakota Coyotes.
Grace is among the most productive players left in the transfer portal, as he has played in all 25 games that the Coyotes has played the past two seasons, putting up and making himself comfortable getting after other team's quarterbacks. Grace finished 2023 with 5.5 sacks and had a breakout season in 2024 with 9.5 sacks. Over the past two seasons, Grace also has 26 tackles for loss and 98 tackles while adding in three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
If the Yellow Jackets are able to land Grace, it would no doubt be one of the biggest pick ups by the team in the offseason, as it would potentially fix the team's biggest area of concern last season, applying pressure to the quarterback. The Yellow Jackets finished last in the ACC with 18 sacks in 2024, and some of the departures on the defensive line, such as Romello Height and Horace Lockett, put Grace in prime position to make an immediate impact on the team.
The Yellow Jackets already signed one EDGE rushers from the transfer portal, Brayden Manley, and adding in Grace could give the team a duo on the outside of the defensive line that could wreck havoc for the ACC this upcoming season.
Grace will transfer in as a redshirt sophore with two years of eligibility left.
