The transfer portal is officially underway, and let the frenzy begin for some of the nation's highest-rated players and prospects looking to move on to bigger and better opportunities. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets wide receiver room could some additions next season, so why not look into some of what the transfer portal has to offer? Here are three players the Yellow Jackets and head coach Brent Key should look at for the position next season.

1. Chase Sowell, Wide Receiver, Eastern Carolina Pirates

Over the past two seasons, Sowell has been a producer for the offense in the passing game, as he has combined for 81 catches for 1,300 yards. While his touchdown numbers are low, four in the past two seasons, Sowell will have two years of eligibility left. The Yellow Jackets could use his size for jump balls downfield, as he has an impressive 6’4” 195-pound frame.

2. Omari Kelly, Wide Receiver, Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders

After a lack of playing time his first two seasons at Auburn, Kelly transferred to the Blue Raiders last season, when he had a breakout season with 869 yards and 53 receptions. At 6’0” 180 pounds, Kelly could also be a weapon in the run game by blocking on the perimeter.

3. De’Zhaun Stribling, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State Cowboys

Stribling has produced on every team he has been a part of, whether it be Washington State his first two seasons, or Oklahoma State his last two seasons, which Stribling started the 2023 season strong, but a broken wrist would sideline him for the rest of the season. This past season, Stribling contributed 52 receptions for 882 yards and added six touchdowns. Both the Yellow Jackets and Stribling could benefit from each other, as the team needs a clear No.1 receiver after it was announced that Eric Singleton Jr was entering the transfer portal last week, and Stribling is looking to play that leading receiver role to get his draft stock up.
