The transfer portal for Winter is over, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have had their share of drama over the course of the month, as a multitude of players have left the program and new players that are bringing their talents to the Flats. Let's take a look at some of the key movers for the Yellow Jackets this offseason.

Out:
WR, Eric Singleton Jr.
WR, Christian Leary
WR, Leo Blackburn
QB, Zach Pyron
RB, Evan Dickens
OT, Patrick Screws
OT, Corey Robinson
OT, Jordan Brown
DL, Horace Lockett
EDGE, Romello Height
EDGE, Uche Iloh
EDGE, Christian Burkhalter
S, Taye Seymore
S, Justin Brown

Perhaps the biggest loss of the transfer portal for the Yellow Jackets was the departure of Singleton Jr, who has been the team's leading receiver for the past two seasons, while Robinson left a huge blow to Yellow Jacket fans, leaving after he was selected as an honorable mention for the 2024 All-ACC team. In an already depleted position group, losing two defensive linemen and three pass rushers will be hard for the Yellow Jackets to overcome next season.

In: WR, Debron Gatling
WR, Eric Rivers
WR, Dean Patterson
OT, Andrew Rosinski
RB, Malachi Hosley
TE, Harry Lodge
TE, J.T. Byrne
DL, Matthew Alexander
EDGE, Brayden Manley
EDGE, Ronald Triplette
LB, Cayman Spaulding
LB, Melvin Jordan IV
CB, Kelvin Hill Jr.
CB, Daiquan White

I seemed that Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key was laser-focused on replenishing the wide receiver room for the Yellow Jackets through the transfer portal with the additions of Gatling, and adding the FIU receiver duo of Eric Rivers and Dean Patterson. Adding in a player from every position group was a good way for Key to use a combination of proven players, such as Brayden Manley and Melvin Jordan, to bring to the defense and be day one contributors.
